Aaron Whittenberger is a Senior Business Analyst in Cincinnati, Ohio. He has over 25 years of business and information technology experience, including 13 as a consulting and over 12 years of business analysis experience. Aaron came up the Application Software Development path on the IBM Midrange platform; getting involved in every aspect of the Software Development Cycle from requirements gathering to post-implementation support. From there he moved to designing, developing and implementing cross-platform interfaces.
Aaron developed a passion for business analysis after taking a BA Boot Camp class from ASPE Technologies in March 2008. He earned his Certified Business Analysis ProfessionalTM (CBAP®) designation in September 2008. He has been involved in promoting the business analysis profession in his local communities and the certification of its practitioners ever since.
Aaron currently serves as Vice President of Marketing and Communication for the Cincinnati IIBA® Chapter and is Co-Chair of the Certification Role Delineation Committee for the International Institute of Business Analysis. He speaks on topics from BA Skill Improvement to IIBA® Certification at IIBA®, PMI® and Company meetings in the region. He was the Program Committee Chair, and a presenter, for the inaugural Southwest Ohio Business Analysis Development Conference hosted by the Cincinnati IIBA® Chapter in April 2011.
