Curtis is a freelance business analyst and creative consultant. For over 15 years, he has worked on both the technical and business sides of the software development lifecycle (SDLC). Like many who have worked in the managing capacity, he finally woke up one day and realized – “I’m a BA” and he hasn’t looked back since. In 2010, joined the IIBA and attended their annual international conference (Building Business Capability) and currently serves as a board member for his local IIBA chapter in Central Florida (Orlando).
Curtis passionately believes the future of the knowledge economy will be led by BAs and other creative and innovative facilitators. The explosion of information, tools and methodologies increases the need for and value of the “technology sherpa”, the guide up the project mountain, who can sort out real business value from marketing hype.
