Are you ready for your next job interview?

Once you’ve landed an interview for a job that you think is a good fit for your competencies as a business analyst, you might have this moment of fear set in. I’ve gotten so far, will the interview go OK?

If you have a lot of experience interviewing for similar roles, the answer will probably be a resounding YES! But sometimes a bit of support and practice can help you better prepare and make a great first impression.

That’s why I offer interview preparation services for candidates interviewing for jobs where the bulk of the responsibilities are within business analysis. (The title may or may not be business analyst, but you know it’s a BA job!)

What the service includes

• Recommendations for how to position your qualifications and present yourself as a strong candidate.
• Sample interview questions.
• Phone-based mock interview and feedback on the mock interview.
• Answers to any questions you have as you prepare for the interview.

How it works

1. Check in to make sure I have some availability. Use the form below to submit your request and I’ll get back to you as soon as possible, often within one business day.
2. I’ll let you know if I can be available, answer any questions you have about the service.
3. After payment, you’ll send me your resume, the job posting, and any other information you have about the position and the interview.
4. I’ll evaluate all of these materials and provide some feedback on how I see your core strengths related to this specific position.
5. We’ll email back and forth as you prepare for our consultation.
6. I’ll also generate a list of potential interview questions that I would ask as the hiring manager for this position.  I can share these with you if you’d like or you can choose for them to be a surprise during the mock interview.
7. We’ll meet via phone or Skype for an hour, spending about 30 minutes in a mock interview and 30 minutes discussing the interview.
8. I’ll continue to be available via email as you prepare for your interview and as you reflect on what you learned via the real interview.
