IIBA Dallas – How to Increase Your Perceived Value as a BA!
Welcome, IIBA Dallas!
I’m excited to virtually visit Dallas on March 17, 2011, and talk about how to increase your perceived value as a business analyst. The truth is, business analysis has a significant impact on an organization’s bottom line. We know that, but do our stakeholders? We’re going to talk about how you can communicate your value so that your work is better recognized within your organization.

Let’s think about your value!
Click here to download a quick worksheet you can use to think about your value and your perceived value. We’ll start off the meeting by listening to your feedback and your challenges so that we can spend our time talking about what’s most important to you.
Print the worksheet and fill it out. Keep these questions in mind between now and March 17 as it’s likely if you pay attention to indirect feedback you receive you’ll discover some new hints as to how your value is perceived.
Please leave a comment below with feedback on any of the topics you want to be sure we discuss. Since this is a virtual meeting, having your feedback ahead of time will help me customize my presentation to meet the challenges and opportunities you are facing right now.
