Between now and the workshop start:

  1. Download the materials.
  2.  Decide what business process you’ll be mapping during our time together. The best choice is one you are working on right now, or an area of requirements you want to explore for an active project. Be sure you understand the process fairly well, or complete discovery ahead of time to gather information about the process. If you aren’t currently assigned to a project, the list of ideas will give you a lot of alternatives to explore.
  3. Choose a software tool you can use to map out your business process. ANY tool you have is totally fine. If you are choosing a new tool, check out the Business Process Mapping Software Guide to find an option that will work for you – several have free trials, so there doesn’t need to be any additional cost to you to get started.
